Jacqueline (Jackie) Brambila is a board-certified and licensed physician assistant (PA) working alongside Dr. Terry Dubrow in Newport Beach, CA. One of the featured doctors on E!’s Botched, to ensuring that patients receive the care they seek and need. Follow patients' progress during postoperative and follow-up appointments and complete history and physical examinations for our new patient consults. After earning her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2007, she acquired a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard University in 2010, a Postbaccalaureate Degree in Pre-Health Professions from California State University, Fullerton in 2012, and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences in 2015. As Dr. Dubrow’s “right-hand gal,” Jackie works closely with patients during their postoperative and follow-up appointments developing diagnostic and therapeutic plans for optimal recovery. Additionally, Jackie works with patients in the medical spa delivering rejuvenation procedures like neurotoxin injections, injectable fillers, laser therapy, and radiofrequency for skin tightening/body contouring. Physician Assistant in Aesthetic and Reconstrutive Surgery
I Work alongside rhinoplasty reconstruction specialist, Dr. Jay Calvert, in ensuring that patients receive the care they seek and need. I evaluate patients via medical history and exam to determine their surgical/aesthetic needs. I act as a first-assist in the OR, participate in initial consultations, complete preoperative appointments, and follow the patient's progress during postoperative and follow-up appointments. I also work with patients in the medical spa administering BOTOX and injectables fillers, and also work with laser therapy (Pixel, Photofacial, laser hair removal), radio frequency skin tightening (Accent), and ultrasound (Ultherapy).
Clinical Care Extender Intern for Oncology Department
Supported the hospital staff to increase the quality of patient care by participating in basic patient care tasks such as changing, feeding, and bathing patients. Assisted in the transport of patients via gurney, hospital beds, or wheelchair, and assist in repositioning of patients in bed. Assisted patients with a bedpan or urinal. Distributed food trays to patients, take patient vital signs and help with maintenance of patient’s rooms by emptying trash bags, restocking linens and changing bed linens on both occupied and unoccupied beds. Made rounds on the floors and speak with the patients to ensure that they are as comfortable.
Certified Dr. Grace Lee Peng is a board certified surgeon, fellowship trained in reconstructive surgery and facial plastic surgery.
Born and raised in Palos Verdes, California, Dr. Peng’s talent was recognized at an early age. While attending high school, Dr. Peng was accepted into the highly selective Baccalaureate/M.D. program at the University of Southern California (USC). She received several merit scholarships, including USC’s Presidential Scholarship, and went on to win multiple, prestigious Undergraduate Research Awards in both the life sciences and gerontology. Dr. Peng graduated as a Renaissance Scholar with highest honors prior to going on to earn her M.D. from the Keck School of Medicine at USC. As an intern in the Department of General Surgery and Otolaryngology, she was sought after for both her surgical skill and intellectual leadership. Dr. Peng completed her residency in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, one of the leading teaching hospitals in the country, where she served as Chief Resident. She was carefully selected to pursue a prestigious fellowship with Dr. Paul Nassif, Dr. Babak Azizzadeh and Dr. Guy Massry in Beverly Hills, where she completed an additional year of training. Shortly after starting her fellowship, Dr. Paul Nassif asked her to join him in practice.
An accomplished clinician and scholar, Dr. Peng has multiple peer-reviewed journal publications and book chapters. Her work includes approaches to head and neck surgery and cancer reconstruction, rhinoplasty, eyelid repair and cosmetic surgery, as well as facial rejuvenation. Her research has been recognized by the American College of Surgeons – Head and Neck Surgery Division, MEDSTARS USC Surgical Subspecialty Research Competition, and Bristol-Myers Squibb, among others. Dr. Peng has been regularly invited to present at professional conferences, where she shares her research and experience.
Dr. Peng also uses her skills and expertise to provide care that improves others’ quality of life. She worked with the Department of Health Services in Los Angeles to create a telemedicine system and served for five years as an Advisory Board Member for the Sheila Kar Health Foundation, which works to promote heart disease prevention and early intervention in the local community. Dr. Peng also traveled to Peru with the Global Smile Foundation as a member of a surgical team that performed cleft lip and palate surgeries for patients who were born with facial deformities. She continues to teach surgical residents as well as medical students at the Keck School of Medicine.
In addition to English, Dr. Peng also speaks fluent Mandarin and Spanish.
Charles Galanis, M.D., is a reconstructive and plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, who is double board certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery and in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Galanis completed medical school at the University of Wisconsin. He was the class president and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, a distinction only granted to the top 15% of medical school graduates.
Upon completing medical school, Dr. Galanis completed his internship and residency in general surgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. While completing his residency, he was also awarded Resident Teacher of the Year award as Chief Resident.
After completing his general surgery training, Dr. Galanis pursued his interests and matched into UCLA’s highly competitive plastic and reconstructive surgery program. He then went through additional training throughout the Los Angeles area including private cosmetic practices in Beverly Hills, high volume county hospitals, and the UCLA Medical Center. The plastic surgery training program at UCLA is widely considered one of the finest training platforms in the country. Dr. Galanis stayed on for an additional year at UCLA as Microsurgery Fellow and Clinical Instructor. He performed complex reconstruction surgeries with a high focus on breast, head and neck surgery.
He has authored over 20 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and has had his research presented at medical conferences.
Dr. Galanis considers it a privilege to assist patients in either restoring form or helping them achieve a particular look they desire. He believes in establishing a trusting and honest relationship with his patients before any decisions are made and then throughout the entire process.
Although fully trained in all areas of plastic surgery, Dr. Galanis’ main areas of interest are non-invasive skin treatments, cosmetic surgery of the breast and body, and reconstructive surgery for breast and skin cancer.

Dawn Hawley began her education in skin care 20 years ago. Dr. Donald B. Yoo, M.D. is a board certified surgeon, fellowship trained in facial plastic surgery in Beverly Hills, with extensive experience in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
